![]() ![]() Next year, FAN EXPO Philadelphia will be a little earlier: May 3-5, 2024. It is truly one of the better-run shows out there. I’m more of a comic guy and on the hunt for TPBs, so to not have that many comic vendors, kind of bummed me out. I could really count the number on my hands. The Minnesota Wild today announced the 2023 Street Hockey Series will visit eight communities in the Twin Cities this summer starting on Tuesday, July 11 at Burnsville Ice Center, from 5 - 8 p.m. I did feel like there were not enough comic book vendors though. ![]() There were all kinds of different vendors ranging from POPs, to imported items, to hand-crafted items, those were the most impressive. That area was well organized, and the volunteers were not rude, but very helpful.įinally, there was the vendors. From fan favorites, like the cast of SMALLVILLE, to Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio from Daredevil. Really nice.Īrtist alley, always my favorite, had plenty of talent like Dan Slott, Frank Cho, Jim Shooter, and many more big names in the industry. Speaking of cosplayers, I really saw some amazing talent there. There was room enough to even take pictures of cosplayers walking by. I honestly think I only bumped into 2 people. The isles were a nice size that it was easy to walk through. I’ve been to a lot of cons, and a lot of them are a disorganized mess. Areas with signs to you knew where to go. The organizers really did a great job planning the layout. I, myself, was only able to attend on Sunday, but I got to tell you it was a great time there.įAN EXPO ran last year, but people were still a little wary because of COVID, so this year was so much nicer. ![]() This weekend FAN EXPO Philly was in full swing.
